Veterinary practices and laboratories: For optimal disinfection, clean the surfaces, cages, rooms or equipment and remove any organic matter. Then apply Rhodasept at a rate of approximately 300ml of product per square metre. A knapsack sprayer can be used for large surface areas, whilst smaller areas can be treated with a hand operated sprayer, or applied with a damp cloth or mop.
Kennels, cages, single stall, farrowing cages, floors, walls etc: Dilute RHODASEPT as required, use a knapsack sprayer, mop and bucket, or wipe surfaces with a cloth moistened in the diluted product. Leave the disinfectant to dry.
Small animal cages, table tops: For routine disinfection make a 2% solution and fill a trigger spray bottle. Spray the empty cage until damp throughout, leave the disinfectant to work for a minimum of 30 minutes – ideally 2 hours and wipe dry with a cloth. If a spray bottle is not available, the Rhodasept solution can be applied using a cloth or sponge.
Treatment of corridors and service areas: Disinfect outer surfaces of stables, corridors and cages etc. 3 times / week.
Transport and other vehicles: Rhodasept ® is non-corrosive and non-staining at recommended concentrations so vehicles and associated equipment can safely be cleaned and disinfected.
