♦ Biodegradable

IMPORTANT:

The uses of the product may change from country to country, dependent on local rules and regulations.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

Sanitization of water systems:

Aquasteril should be applied as a 2% ready-to-use solution. To prepare, dilute 200 ml of product in 10 litres of water.

The drinking water system including water tanks, lines and drinkers, should be filled and left to circulate for 6 hours, or stand and disinfect for 12 – 24 hours. Make sure that all drinker nipples have been depressed to allow the disinfectant solution to remove any Biofilm that may have collected around the drinker valve. Ensure that suitable protective clothing is worn during this operation. Care should then be taken to flush the system thoroughly prior re-stocking the poultry house in order to remove remaining disinfectant, micro-organism debris and remains of any Biofilm.

Water disinfectants and the use of water soluble “blue dye”:

In order to optimise the administration of Aquasteril at the end-of-cycle it is useful to add an approved “blue dye” to the disinfectant. This will help ensure that the system is initially filled with disinfectant, and later show that the system is fully drained.

Disinfectants and Biological products:

If live bacterial vaccines or probiotics are to be administered orally to the flock, it may be necessary to withdraw Aquasteril 3 days prior to their administration. In addition Aquasteril should only be re-introduced into the drinking water 3 days post vaccination.

Corrosion data and user precautions:

Please pay careful attention to the following information:

♦ Peracetic acid and Hydrogen Peroxide are corrosive and should only be administered through systems fitted with Teflon pumps (alternatively pre-dilute to a 1% solution before the solution enters the pump)
♦ Never mix Aquasteril with other products!

A safety data sheet is available upon request.
